Enrolling Your Device with Duo Mobile at Clackamas Community College

1. Receive the Setup Email

  • After your account is set up, you will receive an email from Clackamas Community College. This email will contain a link to set up your device with Duo Mobile.

2. Click the Setup Link

  • Open the email and click on the provided setup link. This will direct you to the Duo enrollment page.
     

3. Welcome Screen

  • You will be greeted with the Duo Welcome Screen. Click Start setup to begin the enrollment process.

 

4. Choose Your Authentication Device Type

  • Select the type of device you are adding (e.g., mobile phone, tablet). Click Continue.

 

5. Enter Your Phone Number

  • Select your country from the drop-down list and enter your phone number. Ensure that you enter the correct number, as this will be used for Duo authentication. Click Continue.

6. Choose Platform

  • Select the platform of your device (e.g., iOS, Android). Click Continue.

 

7. Install Duo Mobile

  • Follow the instructions to install the Duo Mobile app on your device. You can find the app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once installed, click I have Duo Mobile installed.

8. Activate Duo Mobile

  • Open the Duo Mobile app on your device and use it to scan the QR code displayed on the enrollment page. This will activate Duo Mobile on your device.

Click Continue.

9. Configure Device Options

  • After activating Duo Mobile, you can configure additional device options:
    • Device Name: Give your device a descriptive name.
    • Default Authentication Method: Set Duo Push as the default method by selecting Automatically send this device a Duo Push from the drop-down menu. Click Save.

  • Notifications: You may receive email notifications when you add or remove a device in Duo.
  • Support: If you encounter any issues during the setup process, please contact your Duo administrator for assistance.
  • Usage: When you remote into a server, you will be prompted with the following screen that will trigger a notification on your phone to accept or reject.
