Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):
How do I get access to Adobe Pro or Creative Cloud?
Because Adobe Pro and Creative Cloud incur additional costs to the ITS department and are limited in available licenses, requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis. If no licenses are currently available, ITS will ask the department to cover the cost of the prorated license and ITS will absorb the cost for the license the following year.
If you currently have Adobe Pro or other Adobe applications installed on your device and need assistance with managing the application, please submit an Adobe Support request. If Adobe Pro or other Adobe related applications are malfunctioning and not working as intended, please notify the ITS department of your Adobe Issue (incident).
Does Adobe Pro come pre-installed on CCC issued devices?
No, Adobe Pro does not come pre-installed on CCC devices.
If the college is stepping away from Adobe Pro, what will happen to my Creative Cloud license?
Currently there isn't an alternative solution to Creative Cloud from our new vendor, Foxit. Employee's who require Creative Cloud to perform their essential duties, will keep their current license as is. If you require a Creative Cloud license, check with ITS on current license availability. As mentioned above, if no licenses are available departments will have to absorb the prorated cost for that academic year. Additionally, all Creative Cloud requests do require a business case and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
