Connecting to college wifi

When trying to connect to the staff or student wifi, you are likely prompted with a multitude of settings to configure. Each brand/model of devices will require different information. This guide should help cover most of the configurations it would ask for. 

Your device may not ask for all of these, but use these recommended settings for each of the settings it does ask for:

  • EAP method = PEAP
  • EAP Phase = MSCHAPv2
  • Server CA certificate = Do not check or Do not validate
  • Subject Match: Leave Blank
  • Domain Suffix Match: clackamas.edu (if asked)
  • identity = Your student or staff email address
  • anonymous/secret identity = Your student or staff email address
  • Password = Your MyClackamas password

Other notes:
*Try using just the first part of your email (everything before the @) in the identity and anonymous/secret identity sections.

*You cannot sign into the wifi if your account requires you to change your password at next sign in. You likely need to log into MyClackamas first on a different device to set your new password.
