Email Access & Support

Receive ITS support for Clackamas Community College issued Microsoft Outlook email accounts for both students and employees. Email can be accessed through a web browser or the local desktop application, with a convenient link available in the top right corner of your myClackamas account.

Students and staff can request email support for a variety of needs, including but not limited to the following areas:

  • Retrieving access to a separated employee's email account
  • Managing distribution list memberships
  • Creating shared inboxes
  • Using and managing outlook features
  • Email permissions

Additionally, the service desk also provides support for troubleshooting email errors and various technical problems. You can report an email-related issue for assistance with, but not limited to, the following types of errors:

  • Undelivered emails
  • Failure to receive emails
  • Excessive spam or junk messages
  • Other email related issues.

How do I access someone's calendar?

To view another employee's public calendar, open the calendar section in Outlook and select the Add Calendar button (green plus sign), at the top of the ribbon. From the drop-down menu, select From Address Book, search for the employee's name, and double click. Then click Ok. Toggle the calendars you would like to view on the left-hand side of your outlook calendar.

Can I set up my work email on my mobile device?

How do I edit my Outlook signature?

When in the Outlook application, select File in the top left corner, then select Options in the bottom left corner. In the left-hand menu, select Mail and signature settings will be the third option down. How do I report phishing or suspicious emails?

Students and employees can report suspicious emails using the built in Report button located in the top ribbon of your Outlook home menu. Select the email you'd like to report and click Report. All reported emails will be sent to Microsoft and the ITS department for review. If you do not see the Report button, please contact the ITS department for assistance. Alternatively, students and employees can send malicious emails to abuse@clackamas.edu. How long is a separated employees email active for?

Upon receiving notice of any employee's separation, ITS will begin the account deactivation process. The timing of deactivation may vary depending on when notification is received from HR or the hiring manager. In most cases, a separated employee's email account remains active for no more than a few weeks after notification unless the direct supervisor requests otherwise.
